Church at the White House

Church At The White House!
Church At The White House!

The title of my blog post and video today is called the Church at the White House. In this post, I want to share something really encouraging: faith is returning to the heart of government in the USA! I recently came across a series of tweets that show how Christian worship and prayer are once again taking place inside the White House. A couple of years ago, I talked about the Asbury revival, it seems like revival is happening in the US government.

Faith Back on the Agenda

Calvin Robinson tweeted:

“A privilege to visit the White House today. It is so good to see faith back on the agenda. The US went from persecuting Christians under Biden to embracing Christians under President Trump, with the establishment of a White House faith office to protect religious freedoms.”

What a privilege it must have been for Calvin to be invited!

Below is the video where I talk more about this encouraging news from the White House.

Sean Feucht also shared:

“1600 Pennsylvania Avenue has become a house of prayer today. Worship is taking over the White House.”

It’s incredible to see worship happening at the very heart of American government.

Christians Worshipping in the White House

There have been reports of Christian leaders and students from Liberty University leading worship inside the White House, particularly during Easter services.
Faith leaders are now being hosted regularly to pray, worship, and advise in ways that could influence the next generation.

This is so encouraging to see — and it reminds me how much we need Christian influence in government, not just in America but also here in the UK and around the world.

Praying for Our Leaders

The Bible clearly encourages us to pray for those in authority. Here are some verses that remind us of this important duty:

1 Timothy 2:1–4

“Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.”

Romans 13:1–2

“Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.”

Philippians 4:6–7

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.”

Colossians 1:16–18

“For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible… all things were created through Him and for Him.”

A Call to Faith

If you’re reading this and you haven’t yet experienced the peace and joy that come from knowing Jesus personally, there’s no better time than now.
Jesus came to set the captives free and to give the wonderful gift of eternal life.

A simple prayer to invite Jesus into your life might be:

Dear Lord Jesus,
I acknowledge You as Lord and Savior of my life.
I repent of all my sins and ask You today to take complete control of every aspect of my life.
Amen.

If you prayed that prayer and meant it, and you choose to turn away from your sin and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Then you have the wonderful gift of eternal life.

Final Thoughts

I pray that what is happening in America spreads across the world — that governments would be influenced by true Christian values, filled with God’s Spirit, and guided by truth.

Thank you so much for reading.
