Be Thankful!

Be Thankful!
Be Thankful!

After being in front of the computer for most of the day, it’s to be thankful! It’s also nice to come outside and relax in the countryside and take the dog for a walk! I have always admired and enjoyed the East Anglian cornfields, I have spent many happy times over the years, walking across the fields.

You can see my previous blog post here, which is entitled, “whom are you praying to?”

Whenever I am out walking or even driving in the countryside, it always brings me back to creation, and see how everything is created so amazingly! As I was walking up this track, the sun was just going down. It was a large bright red ball, another great reminder of our creator. I think I have just missed it, I wanted to get to the top of the hill before I took the video.

Peace And Quiet

I always enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. There was a tractor out a few minutes ago, spreading fertiliser. That’s always a good sign that spring can’t be too far away. I often stop when I’m walking and just admire the countryside and enjoy the scenery and the peace and quiet. When I look all around me, it’s hard to imagine that people believe that the Earth was formed by a big bang rather than our creator.

When I go on my regular walks, I often think that this is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice in the day! It’s great to think about everything he has done and created and made everything for us to enjoy! He has given us this glorious countryside and natural beauty for us to enjoy! I think so many people miss out when they come to the countryside and don’t realise what is happening there. Every day when I walk, I see something different, something new, something that has been made by the creator!

This is our dog, he came from Greece, my wife is actually from Greece. His Greek is a lot better than my Greek is; he seems to respond to Greek words more than English! He is called Parouli, he has turned out to be a great little dog, he is very gentlemanly and has a fantastic nature! I have always had German shepherds! I wondered what I would be like the smaller dog, but he is great fun.

Be Thankful

It’s good to remember when we start a new day, that it’s an opportunity to draw closer to God. It’s an opportunity for new opportunities and for good things to happen. Let’s be thankful that this is the day that the Lord has made.

If you live in the countryside, make the most of it, be thankful for creation and enjoy the peace and quiet!
