Welcome to my website, which is called A Countryman’s View. I decided to set the website up as I thought it would be good to have a platform where I can put my point of view across.
My Aim Is To Bring The Truth
The website will be a Christian website, which will be very much based on Christian principles. I plan to talk about news topics and various things that are going on in the world today.
Unfortunately, not all the news we hear is 100% truthful, especially if we hear the news from the mainstream media. I rarely read or listen to the mainstream media as it just cannot be trusted. It can often carry a slant just to suit the narrative. I guess everything that I do to start with will be a practice run, I will take everything one step at a time.
It’s The Truth That Sets Us Free!
The great thing about the Christian gospel is it is the truth that sets you free, and something that never changes. We may be living in a dark world which seems impossible at times; thankfully, the Bible brings the good news of eternal life for those who believe in him!
I plan to bring mainly video content to the website, however, I would also like to transcribe the videos. In this way, people have a choice to watch the video or to read the transcription. I would also like to try and look on the bright side of the news knowing that we have hope in God!
Business Life
I have been connected with agriculture, horticulture and forestry industry all my working life, having started out in agriculture before I left school. I am still associated with the industries above.
I have always enjoyed the countryside and very much enjoyed the East Anglia cornfields. When I see the fields, I feel like that is a great reminder of our creator! I don’t know how some people can believe the Big Bang theory, it doesn’t make sense!
I’ve been fortunate to sell a couple of small businesses that I have owned. I still run a small stump grinding business in my area, which is East Anglia. I also have several websites where I sell and talk about, mainly garden, horticultural and forestry machinery.
You can also find out more about me here. I spend quite a bit of time interacting with like-minded people who are building an online business. It’s a great place to encourage others; we can learn so much from others by helping each other.
The web is something that fascinates me, I find it absolutely amazing that we can reach people all across the world. It’s fantastic that we can shop online, book a flight, speak to friends via Zoom etc. The Internet has also opened up numerous business opportunities for people. Opportunities that we never thought would be possible a few years ago.
I started working online back in 2004, as I could see the power of the Internet and the massive potential that it created.
It’s also great for reaching people, especially from the Christian perspective.
In Matthew 28, it tells us to go out and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the son and of the Holy Spirit. I believe that the Internet is a making a great impact on reaching the lost for Christ.
My aim is to reach as many people as possible and tell them the good news of the gospel, by utilising the power of the Internet.
