The title on my thumbnail today Is, Revival Is Happening! It’s not often we hear encouraging news in a world overwhelmed by confusion, division, and uncertainty. But in the midst of it all, something powerful is taking place—revival is happening. All across the world, Christians are gathering in large numbers, lifting up the name of Jesus, and boldly proclaiming the gospel in public places. What we are witnessing is not manufactured hype—it’s a genuine move of God.
Revival on the Streets and in the Stadiums
Recently, I’ve been seeing powerful images and short video clips shared online. One tweet from Ricky Doolan shows Christians worshiping on the streets of the Netherlands, praising the Lord Jesus openly and without shame. These aren’t isolated events—they are part of a broader wave of spiritual awakening.
In California, USA, over 45,000 people packed Angel Stadium to worship Jesus. So many people came forward during the altar call that the fire marshals had to intervene. Thousands gave their lives to Christ that day. This isn’t just encouraging—it’s miraculous. We’ve seen similar revival moments in Asbury in 2023 and other unexpected places. Each one serves as a reminder that God is not finished with our generation. He is still in the business of transforming hearts.
Biblical Foundations of Revival
Revival isn’t just about emotion or music—it’s about returning to God. The Bible has much to say about spiritual renewal. Here are five New Testament scriptures that speak directly into the heart of revival:
- Acts 3:19: “Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.”
- Romans 13:11: “And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.”
- James 4:8: “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.”
- Acts 2:17: “And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, that I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh…”
- Revelation 3:20: “Behold, I stand at the door and knock…”
These verses remind us that revival begins with repentance, humility, and drawing near to God. It’s not about performance—it’s about returning to the presence of the Lord.
What Really Matters
I came across a powerful image that stayed with me. One side of the picture showed a grave with the words:
“I was famous. I had the most expensive house. I was a millionaire.”
Next to it was another grave that simply read:
“I knew Jesus.”
In the end, that’s all that matters. As Christians, we know where our true hope lies. The world may look like it’s falling apart, but according to God’s Word, everything is coming together just as He said it would.
Hope for Britain and Beyond
This is not just an American story or a Dutch story—it’s a global one. And it’s desperately needed in Britain too. We need to return to our spiritual roots and seek God’s face once again. Even Westminster has seen signs of spiritual awakening, however small. These are signs that we must not ignore. As I wrote previously, only a miracle can save Britain now—and that miracle begins with repentance, prayer, and a cry for revival.
A Simple Prayer
If you’re not a Christian but something in this message has stirred your heart, I invite you to pray with me:
“Dear Lord Jesus, I acknowledge You as Lord and Saviour of my life. I repent of all my sins. I ask You today to take complete control of every aspect of my life. Amen.”
If you prayed that prayer and meant it, welcome into the Kingdom of God. Revival begins with one heart at a time—and it can begin with yours today.
Conclusion
Thank you for reading. If you’ve witnessed revival where you are, or you’ve been inspired by what’s happening around the world, feel free to leave a comment. Let’s encourage one another in faith, hope, and boldness. God is moving. Revival is happening.
