Crazy Jesus Friends Were Right All Along!

“Crazy Jesus Friends” Were Right All Along

The title of my video and blog post today is “crazy Jesus friends were right all along!” In this post, I want to share some thoughts inspired by a message from Pastor Tim Burt, a man of God and teacher of the Word. The phrase on my thumbnail reads:

“On that day when the trumpet sounds, a lot of people are going to wish they had listened to their crazy Jesus friends.”

This isn’t about scaremongering; it’s about biblical truth. I came across this picture from Pastor Tim — someone I know and have interviewed. He’s across the pond in America, a great man of God and a strong teacher of the Word. His picture says the same line above and ends with “Amen.” I can just picture that scene, if you know what I mean. Jesus is going to come suddenly one day, perhaps when we least expect it. The most important question is: are you ready?

Why I’m Making This Video

Earlier, I saw a tweet from David Vance that said the Home Office awarded contracts worth over £1 million to prepare for a mass fatality event, including capacity to store up to 700 bodies. He asked, “What exactly are they expecting?”

When I went back to find David’s tweet, I saw another post from Liam Tuffs saying this requires a detailed explanation — that governments don’t obtain a morgue of this magnitude unless they are preparing for a mass death event. “What are we anticipating here?” It really makes you think. There are lots of comments on these posts and this definitely needs further investigation. Why would they be doing that? I don’t know. We don’t know what governments plan. What I do know is that there are some very evil people in this world.

Again, this is not scaremongering. These are biblical truths. As a Christian, I believe what the Bible says. I didn’t use to, but I’ve been a Christian for almost 30 years now, and I take biblical truth seriously.

Israel, Bible Prophecy, and May 14, 1948

I find Bible prophecy absolutely amazing. What a day it must have been in May 1948 — specifically May 14, 1948 — when Israel became independent. It’s something biblical scholars had been waiting for. It was prophesied in Scripture, and then it happened.

  • Isaiah 66:8 (NKJV) — “Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall the earth be made to give birth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion was in labor, She gave birth to her children.”
  • Deuteronomy 1:8 (NKJV) — “See, I have set the land before you; go in and possess the land which the LORD swore to your fathers—to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—to give to them and their descendants after them.”
  • Amos 9:14–15 (NKJV) — “I will bring back the captives of My people Israel… I will plant them in their land, and no longer shall they be pulled up from the land I have given them,” says the LORD your God.
  • Ezekiel 37:26–28 (NKJV) — “I will make a covenant of peace with them… My tabernacle also shall be with them… the nations also will know that I, the LORD, sanctify Israel, when My sanctuary is in their midst forevermore.”

We are seeing people returning to Israel rapidly; the rebuilding, the planting, the inhabiting — just as Scripture foretold. Jesus said no one knows the exact day or hour, but there would be signs leading up to His return. Israel becoming a nation was a massive sign that changed things and shows we are heading in that direction. We’ve been heading that way since the beginning, but I really believe we’re getting near.

The Trumpet Will Sound

Scripture also speaks clearly about the trumpet of God and the return of Jesus Christ:

  • 1 Thessalonians 4:16 (NKJV) — “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.”
  • 1 Corinthians 15:51–52 (NKJV) — “We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet… and we shall be changed.”
  • Matthew 24:30–31 (NKJV) — The Son of Man comes on the clouds with power and great glory; His angels gather His elect with a great sound of a trumpet.
  • Revelation 11:15 (NKJV) — The seventh trumpet: “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!”

Maybe this all sounds far-fetched to some, but the Bible is an old book with truths that are coming to pass. We’re seeing so much evil and deception — lies from politicians and others. We need to be ready.

Are You Ready? (A Prayer)

Jesus died a painful death on the cross and rose again so that we could have eternal life and much more. If you genuinely believe that He died for your sins and rose again, you can receive that gift today. If you’re not a Christian, you might like to pray this prayer:

“Dear Lord Jesus, I acknowledge You as Lord and Savior of my life. I repent of all my sins and I ask You today to take complete control of every aspect of my life.” Amen.

If you prayed that sincerely, the Bible says you are born again and the Holy Spirit now lives within you. My question to you is: Are you ready for when that big day comes?

Pastor Tim’s Devotionals

On another note, Pastor Tim also writes some lovely devotionals — I’ve read many over the years and they’re very encouraging. His website (as mentioned in the video) is timber.org.
