End Times – Are We On The Road To Armageddon?

End Times – Are We On The Road To Armageddon
End Times – Are We On The Road To Armageddon

The title on my thumbnail reads “End Times: Are We on the Road to Armageddon?” And, I know it might sound like a fairly gloomy subject. However, for the Christian, we have nothing to fear because I believe God is going to take us out of this, if we are genuine believers, and we’re not going to see this battle, which is good. But it does, with all the things going on, make me think—and I say makes me think, I’m basing this on scripture—that we are moving closer to this day. Once again, this isn’t to put fear into people; it’s to be thankful that if you’re a Christian, we can escape this, I believe.

So, earlier today, I was looking at this post from Amir Tsarfati on his Telegram channel, and it says, “Russia is basing its military presence close to Israel. Media in Syria published documents of Russian army patrols and a new military position, which joins other positions near the border with Israel. According to a Syrian opposition source, this Russian establishment comes after months of complete absence. It is not certain that this is good news for Israel, in light of the side that Russia has chosen in the war in Gaza and its reproach with Iran in the shadow of the cooperation between the parties in the war in Ukraine.” We know the world’s a very mixed-up place, and sometimes it’s hard to know what to believe. But the main thing is that we know our end-time destination, and if we know that, we have, despite everything going on and what’s being taught in our schools and how we’re seeing just madness all over the news really, we have nothing to fear if we know who we are in Christ and we know Jesus. He will look after us, and he’s given us the gift of eternal life.

So, if we look at Genesis 3:6, it talks about, “So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.” It kind of reminds me, you often think of the Garden of Eden when I see a nice garden. I think about the Garden of Eden, how wonderful that would be. But I believe God’s going to take us to a complete circle, and when this world ends or when the Rapture comes, we will be living in the Garden of Eden.

Now, lots of people think it’s going to be Rapture first; other people think we got to go through the tribulation. Personally, I would like to think we’re going to go through the Rapture first and be out of the tribulation. But there are many good scholars that think the other way around. I think it’s important that, rather than—it’s interesting, we can debate about it, but we have to be careful not to get into arguments. The main thing is that we know that we are saved and that we are born again.

So, we then go on to Genesis 7, and we see, in 7:19, “And the waters prevailed exceedingly on the earth, and all the high hills under the whole heaven were covered.” Hard to imagine when Noah was building this boat, that many people couldn’t take him seriously, but God flooded the world as he was tired of all the sin going on. And it’s interesting, these cycles, especially in Genesis, where we see the changes and what’s coming now.

And then, in Genesis 11, we see the Tower of Babel. I won’t read all of that, but Nimrod built the Tower of Babel. We can see from this story how it went, etc. And if we look at what governments are doing now, we saw the lockdowns and how they controlled people. I must admit, they didn’t control me because I saw through it before it happened and as it was happening, probably because of some of the people I listen to and knowing how the world system works. God didn’t put us on this Earth to be controlled by godless government. He put us on this Earth to be controlled by Him and to have a relationship with Him, and there’s such a huge difference between being controlled by the government and being controlled by the Holy Spirit and listening to God. Huge difference.

And in Matthew 4:9, we see about Satan tempting Jesus, and he said, “And he said to him, ‘All these things I will give you if you fall down and worship me.'” So, it’s very easy to be tripped up by the enemy. Some things, on the face of it, in this world can seem good, but we know we got to go

by what the Bible says, the word. It’s the truth that sets you free, not some five-minute pleasure or even a week’s pleasure. It’s the truth, and the truth of Jesus dying on the cross, who came to set the captives free, that’s the truth we want to study on.

And when we look at our schools now, we see many schools are talking about the occult and teaching people and teaching young children all sorts of things that go totally against what the word of God says. We see the United Nations—I used to think the United Nations was a good organization, maybe they were, but now when I see what’s coming out of, in Gaza and what have you, and what they’re doing and how they’re trying to control us, the United Nations wants a new world order, which is just wrong. But it’s all been talked about in the Bible, and it’s amazing that we are living in this day and age where we can actually see these things happen. We just need to believe in the Lord Jesus. We don’t need the UN anymore; they’re not being truthful to us. They’re trying to take over and bring in their New World Order. We need to stand on biblical truths because they are what made countries great. If we look at all the Christian countries and how they got to where they are, they were built on Christian principles, which is wonderful.

If we look in 2 Corinthians 5:10, it says, “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in his body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.” So, it’s talking about the Judgment Seat of Christ, and to me, that’s quite serious. And it’s good that we spend our time on Earth doing good things and doing things that are pleasing to God. I’m thankful for the cross that says we are forgiven, but at the same time, it’s important that we spend our time wisely and do good things and be kind to people, etc.

Then, if we go on to Revelation 20:12, it says, “And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is The Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.” Quite harsh when we read that. So, we will be judged. And then, in verse 15, “And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the Lake of Fire.” So, it just shows the importance of being knowing who we are in Christ, knowing what the word says about us, and believing in the Lord Jesus Christ.

And the final scripture is Matthew 7:13-14, talking about the narrow way. It says, “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” Those are quite strong words, really. And it’s important, once again, that we go by what the word says, not by what the world wants. We saw with COVID, all this narrative, “must do this, must do that,” and, you know, it’s gradually coming out that it was a load of rubbish, and it wasn’t truthful. And that’s just one example. We have to go by what the word says. Jesus will never leave us or forsake us. Let’s be thankful for that and make sure that Jesus is the Lord of your life. And just believe in Him.

Now, recently, yesterday, I was listening to this YouTube video from Pastor John Hagee. I like John Hagee. I’ve seen him live in London, going back several years. I think he’s a sixth-generation pastor, or his son is, Matt Hagee. But preaching on, “What’s the title?” Pastor John Hagee, “The Road to Armageddon.” Very clear message, very easily explained, far better than what I can explain it, and definitely worth a listen. I will leave the link in the description box of my video, so you can watch it. But definitely recommend it. And like I say, very easy to understand, takes you through the points, and we can learn a lot from men of God like this.

So, if you’ve got any thoughts on this, I’m here to help and encourage. Please feel free to comment and to like this video. Thank you very much for watching, and just remember, make sure Jesus is the Lord of your life. When He’s the Lord of your life, you have nothing to fear. Thanks very much.
