The title of my blog post and video is “End Times Strong Delusions!” In these uncertain times, many are beginning to notice how closely world events align with biblical prophecy.
The Bible warns us of strong delusions and great deception in the last days. We can see those warnings coming to life in our headlines today.
This post is based on a message inspired by Amir Tsarfati, who recently commented that we are witnessing the reality of the biblical term strong delusions.
Good Called Evil, Evil Called Good
The prophet Isaiah declared:
Isaiah 5:20–21 (NKJV)
“Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;
who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes,
and prudent in their own sight!”
Looking at today’s headlines, we see this prophecy fulfilled. Governments and media outlets reward evil and condemn good.
For example, recent reports in the UK discuss the recognition of a Palestinian state while ignoring Israel’s right to defend itself.
Yet the Bible tells us clearly that the land belongs to Israel, and God’s covenant with them stands firm.
Scriptures About End Time Deception
The Apostle Paul gives a sobering warning:
2 Thessalonians 2:9–12 (NKJV)
“The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders,
and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth,
that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie,
that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
Jesus Himself also gave a clear warning:
Matthew 24:4–5, 11, 24 (NKJV)
“Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.
Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. For false Christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs
and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.”
The Apostle Paul also wrote:
1 Timothy 4:1–2 (NKJV)
“Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits
and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron.”
2 Timothy 4:3–4 (NKJV)
“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires,
because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away
from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.”
The Truth That Sets Us Free
In a world full of lies and confusion, Jesus gives us hope:
John 8:31–32 (NKJV)
“Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, ‘If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.
And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.’”
The truth of God’s Word exposes the lies of the enemy and brings freedom to those who believe.
If you do not yet know Jesus, you can receive Him as your Lord and Savior today.
Pray this simple prayer:
“Dear Lord Jesus, I acknowledge You as Lord and Savior of my life.
I repent of all my sins and I ask You today to take complete control of every aspect of my life. Amen.”
If you prayed that prayer and meant it, the Spirit of God has come into your life,
and you can now begin a new journey in Christ. Whatever happens in the world,
you can know that you have the gift of eternal life.
